Our poor beautiful pumpkins were mutilated by the squirrels. In the end they were so messed up that Abe just dragged them out back and shot them up with arrows. Darn those vermin!
Can you imagine that people out here actually feed the squirrels on purpose! Go figure. Shane recently went shooting with the priests and laurels. Someone had been up there before them and shot up a lot of pumpkins, the remains were everywhere. I think it would be pretty cool to see a pumpkin blown up by a shotgun.
