A Work in Progress

So.... over the past few weeks we've working quite extensively on our heavily burdened house in preparation for the looming move. It's been the topic of conversation and action around these here parts, completely consuming our time and thoughts. Yet, because of the magnitude of, to put it nicely, unwanted objects in the household its been a bit of a slow process, in terms of seeing huge results. Through mothers hard work, the attic is practically cleared and we've unloaded an obscene amount of garbage. How do we have so much crap??? Well, no more! Brother and Sister Erekson were kind enough to come and spend the day fixing up the house and cleaning. Such awesome people!
We obviously are not finished, but there's still about one week left. I just thought I'd show some before and after pictures so that you all can be proud of the strides we're making towards the move on June 29th! Well, that mom is making anyway.

The house is looking great. I can't wait to see the new one. I wish we could come to say good bye to the old one. I have a lot of fond, happy memories there. I know we will be making so many new ones in the new house in August

Bless the Ericksons' hearts! I can't even imagine all the work that is required to move 25+ years of accumulated stuff. I was tuckered out after packing up 5 years worth of my junk!
