Our trip to Lititz was rather quiet and quick this year. We enjoyed ourselves very much, but it wasn't full of the same commotion that comes with trying to manage 12+ people getting from place to place. Surgis' has undergone quite a bit of renovation. We liked the new open front room with a cool display of moving figurines baking pretzels.

General Conference
There aren't many words I can think of to say about this General Conference other then that it was absolutely incredible and inspiring. I think we can all agree that General Conference is one of the best weekends of the year. This one was no exception. It was so edifying, as the word of God always is. On Saturday evening Johnny went with the boys to the Priesthood session as he will be 12 in two weeks. Back at home we had a lovely, though small, girl party. The first true "girl party" we've had in a very loooong time. Bilbo wasn't even around to change the definition of the party. We watched "My Man Godfrey" and had loads of laughs, although we missed our usual crowd very much!! We had our traditional meals; hoagies on Saturday and Meatballs on Sunday. It was a rather smaller group at meals then usual, but it was still just as enjoyable.
We hope everyone had a wonderful conference weekend. We love you all so much!

A Pot of Gold
To mark the official beginning of spring break, a rainbow broke across the sky after a glorious spring rain. It was so lovely that I thought I would share, with you, this beautiful surprise.

Meet Our New Poopie!!
So... we decided to follow the trend of family additions this week. After a very long while of working on Mom and Dad they finally broke down when we made a visit to the SPCA the other day. There was a litter of Labradors that were just sooooo cute and after the twins whined a bit Daddy melted. Mom took a little more time to convince, in fact we almost left, but cuteness prevailed and we got our Bilbo replacement. Except it's a girl cause, you know, Little Ann isn't spayed. Melissa doesn't like her very much (a little reminiscent of how Bilge-rat felt about her) but Little Ann and the puppy are already fast friends. Maybe that's a bad thing though because her potty habit resemble Little Ann's. She hasn't jumped on the door yet, which pleases Dad, but he's not liking twice the pee puddles. Poor Papa.
Anyway, this is the only good photo we've gotten thus far, but expect more soon!!!
We haven't thought of a name yet, suggestions are welcome! We had considered the whole naming after the in-law thing, but Erin doesn't quite fit her. I like Pickles and the girls like Penny and Abe insists on Bruce (even though it's a girl?? Perhaps Brucette as suggested by John). Please help!
